Better choices always make me happy especially when it involves food and I don’t have to feel too guilty eating everything I see when the off switch is out of order. So, I thought it would be a good idea sharing some of my better option snacks with you and how I make them.
Please take note I am no chef and I just wing it half of the time so should you get a better or easier way please feel free to share 😀
So, these little delicious clusters are beyond easy to make and here is what you will need:
- Some sort of Sugar Free Chocolate (I buy the small slabs from Lifestyle Foods at DisChem, not chocolate that uses normal sweetener for health reasons).
- Nuts (I used almonds in these as they are my favourite, but salted peanuts also work really well).
You can add anything really, but I like to keep things simple. How to make them (don’t laugh cause it’s that easy, laugh because you haven’t thought of it).
Melt the chocolate on a low heat over a hot water bath until completely melted. Mix the nuts into the chocolate and scoop spoonful’s on a tray covered with baking paper so they don’t stick and place them in the freezer. I just keep them in a container in the freezer once set. TaDa and that’s it!
