Nut Clusters

Better choices always make me happy especially when it involves food and I don’t have to feel too guilty eating everything I see when the off switch is out of order. So, I thought it would be a good idea sharing some of my better option snacks with you and how I make them.

Please take note I am no chef and I just wing it half of the time so should you get a better or easier way please feel free to share 😀

So, these little delicious clusters are beyond easy to make and here is what you will need:

  1. Some sort of Sugar Free Chocolate (I buy the small slabs from Lifestyle Foods at DisChem, not chocolate that uses normal sweetener for health reasons).
  2. Nuts (I used almonds in these as they are my favourite, but salted peanuts also work really well).

You can add anything really, but I like to keep things simple. How to make them (don’t laugh cause it’s that easy, laugh because you haven’t thought of it).

Melt the chocolate on a low heat over a hot water bath until completely melted. Mix the nuts into the chocolate and scoop spoonful’s on a tray covered with baking paper so they don’t stick and place them in the freezer. I just keep them in a container in the freezer once set. TaDa and that’s it!

Let me know what you think 😊
