Is there a secret to finding a gem? A gem in this instance is so special and you just want to shout it from the rooftops so the whole world can hear you. Ok, in all honesty I don’t really know what the secret is #mybad but what I do know is that sometimes these things happen by chance and other times they are meant to be.
Last year I met a wonderful lady through a project I had been a part of and from the start I just knew that this lady was meant to be in my life. Fast forward to where we are now and more than a friendship has developed. Human relationships are so important, not only in our personal lives but also in business and this was just bound to be a good one.
Little did I know what the future would have in store for us and we were invited to the launch of this new restaurant in Pretoria called The Social Grill. Super excited about this launch, not only to support our friend but also to discover new places we dressed up and off we went to Pretoria not knowing what to expect.
So, the Peach and the Blossom arrived and what a pleasant surprise! Not only were we welcomed by amazing staff but the vibe and feel of this restaurant was just amazing. There was just something that made us feel comfortable and we knew this is a place we wouldn’t mind spending time at. So here comes the deal breaker and this is very important when determining how much we love restaurants. You guessed it – food. Not to mention their food is basically next level yummy. Look, neither Tanja nor Des is afraid to eat, and we can do it properly. Even better actually if the food is good and then you must know not to sit next to us because your food will become ours as well.
So, what I am trying to say here is that The Social Grill in Pretoria is not only a great spot to get together but also a place where you can feel at home. The people care, not only about the food they serve but about you as the customer. This is home away from home for us for so many reasons and we encourage you to pop in and experience it for yourselves, join the Greek dancing at the Sunday Souvla’s or have a relaxed Saturday afternoon with friends and family but give it a go and let us know what you think, or even better let us know so we can join in on the fun and share some food.
